Editorial review and credential

The plain-English layer and appeal-letter templates are written by EOBDecode and reviewed by a credentialed professional before production and advertising.

Review scope

The reviewer signs off on the plain-English meaning, typical cause, and next-step guidance for each written code, and on the legal-defensibility of every appeal-letter template — including its plan-type framework and regulation citations. The verbatim X12 descriptions are transcribed from primary sources and are not editorial.

Review cadence

Review is re-attested annually and aligned with the X12 publication cycle (March, July, and November), so amended or newly added codes are reviewed before they ship. The operator may add extra rounds of review.

Before production

During this dev preview the reviewer is a placeholder, and the site states that plainly rather than implying a signoff that has not happened. A named reviewer — with credential and a verifiable profile — is required before the site carries advertising or is positioned for production. See the soak strategy for the full timeline.
