The short version
The codes you paste into the decoder and everything you type into the appeal-letter generator are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers. The appeal letter is assembled locally and exported through your own browser’s print dialog. We do not build a profile of your health, your claims, or your lookups.
Data controller
EOBDecode (eobdecode.us) is operated by Desymphony EOOD, a company registered in Sofia, Bulgaria. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
What we do not collect
- We do not collect or store the denial codes you look up.
- We do not collect or store any field you enter into the appeal-letter generator (your name, member ID, claim number, dates, provider, or narrative).
- We do not require an account, and we do not ask for an email address.
- We do not run advertising cookies. (If advertising is ever enabled, this policy will be updated and ads will run non-personalized by default.)
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage (for example, which pages are visited). Analytics run under Google Consent Mode v2: advertising signals are denied by default, and you can decline analytics storage from the notice at the bottom of the page. Aggregate counts never include your specific codes, claim details, or appeal-letter text.
Cookies & local storage
We store a single small value in your browser to remember your analytics choice. No tracking or advertising cookies are set.
Your choices
You can decline analytics at any time and clear your browser storage to reset your choice. Because we do not store your inputs, there is no personal record on our side to access or delete.
Changes
We will update this page and its effective date if our practices change. See also our terms.
